Citizen Collection Eco-Drive Octagon BM7620-83A Men's Watch

The Citizen Collection BM7620-83A (popularly known within the watch community by its nicknames, the "Citizen Octagon", "Luxury Sport Octagon", or "Eco-Drive Octagon") is a sleek, versatile Swiss-inspired solar luxury-sports watch. Designed with a modern geometric aesthetic, this 38mm timepiece pairs an iconic octagonal bezel ring with a clean monochromatic steel construction. Built for contemporary executives, urban professionals, and watch collectors who appreciate integrated sports-luxury styling at an accessible price point, it transitions effortlessly from business formal settings to casual daily wear. The defining visual highlight of this BM7620 reference is its minimalist white dial face, framed by a multi-faceted octagonal bezel. Applied black and silver-tone hour indices alongside matching hands filled with luminous material ensure crisp legibility under varying light conditions. A clean date window sits at the 3 o'clock position, completing a balanced and uncluttered dial design. Beneath its geometric exterior, the watch is driven by Citizen's in-house Caliber E111 Eco-Drive movement. Powered by light from any natural or artificial source, this solar-powered caliber continuously converts energy to eliminate the need for routine battery replacements. Operating with a precision of seconds per month, the movement provides a reliable 6-month (180 days) power reserve on a full light charge, complete with an insufficient charge warning function and overcharge prevention. The watch housing is crafted from marine-grade 316L stainless steel, featuring an ergonomic 38mm case diameter and a slim profile of just 9.7mm for comfortable under-cuff wear. The display is protected by a durable crystal glass. Built for daily versatility and aquatic resistance, the case includes a screwed-down solid steel caseback achieving a certified 100-meter (10 bar / 330 ft) water resistance rating, making it fully suitable for swimming and daily water exposure. The watch comes completed on a solid stainless steel link bracelet fitted with a fold-over deployment clasp and double push-button release.
