Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive Land GMT BJ7150-50E Men's Watch

The Citizen BJ7150-50E (also referenced as BJ715050E) is a robust, high-performance solar-powered dual-time timepiece from Citizen’s world-renowned Promaster Marine and Land Collections. Recognized among watch collectors and frequent travelers by its popular series nicknames—the "Promaster GMT", "Land GMT", or "Eco-Drive GMT 200M"—this 43.5mm watch pairs a solid stainless steel case with a high-contrast black dial, an independent 24-hour GMT hand, a date calendar window at 3 o'clock, light-powered Eco-Drive technology, a durable mineral crystal, a 200-meter water resistance rating, and a solid stainless steel construction. Engineered for globetrotters, aviation enthusiasts, and outdoor adventurers who require simultaneous dual-time tracking, it bridges rugged tool-watch utility with refined daily versatility. The defining visual highlight of this BJ7150-50E reference is its multi-layered black dial face framed by an inner bi-color (red and blue or black and red) 24-hour GMT scale ring. Set beneath a heavy-duty anti-reflective mineral crystal, the dial features prominent luminescent baton hour indices and bold hands thickly treated with luminous material for superior legibility in dark environments. A vibrant orange- or red-tipped GMT hand indicates a second time zone against the 24-hour inner bezel, while a cyclops-magnified date calendar window is positioned at 3 o'clock. The harmonic contrast between the rich black dial, bright luminous markers, dynamic GMT accent hand, and lustrous stainless steel delivers an assertive, highly functional presence on the wrist. Beneath its adventurous exterior, the watch is driven by Citizen's in-house Caliber B877 Eco-Drive movement. Powered by any natural or artificial light source, this light-powered quartz movement completely eliminates the need for battery replacements. Once fully charged, it provides a long-lasting 6-month power reserve, supported by an insufficient charge warning function, an overcharge prevention system, and an independent quick-set GMT hand for effortless local and home time zone adjustments. The case features well-proportioned sports-traveler dimensions, measuring 43.5mm in case width with a case profile thickness of 12.3mm, offering a substantial and comfortable feel on the wrist. Dial protection and optical transparency are provided by a scratch-resistant mineral crystal. Engineered for heavy aquatic exposure and outdoor action, the solid stainless steel case incorporates a solid screw-down caseback and a protected screw-down crown at the 4 o'clock position, achieving a certified 200-meter (20 bar / 660 ft) water resistance rating suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and recreational water sports. The timepiece comes completed on an integrated stainless steel link construction, secured by a solid fold-over deployment clasp with a push-button double-safety catch.
