Orient Sports Kamasu Mako III RA-AA0006L Men's Watch

Orient Sports Kamasu Mako III RA-AA0006L is a high-performance, professional-inspired Japanese automatic diver's timepiece from Orient’s renowned Sports Collection. Recognized globally among watch enthusiasts and diver watch purists by its popular series nicknames—the "Kamasu", "Mako III", or "Kamasu Blue"—this 41.8mm watch pairs a solid stainless steel case with a rich sunray blue dial, a day-date calendar display at 3 o'clock, a high-performance in-house automatic movement, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a certified 200-meter water resistance rating, and a durable black silicone rubber strap. Designed for active sports enthusiasts, scuba divers, and daily wearers seeking an unbeatable balance of Japanese horological craftsmanship and rugged tool-watch aesthetics, it transitions effortlessly from marine depths to casual urban style. The defining visual highlight of this RA-AA0006L reference is its deep, light-reflecting sunray blue dial face framed by a matching unidirectional rotating blue elapsed-time dive bezel. Set beneath a premium flat scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the dial features bold, aggressive geometric hour indices—inspired by the razor-sharp teeth of the Japanese Kamatsu (Barracuda)—and broad hands heavily coated with luminous material for superior low-light legibility underwater. A framed day and date calendar window is positioned at 3 o'clock. The harmonic contrast between the vivid blue dial, dark bezel, luminous accents, and comfortable black rubber strap delivers an assertive, dive-ready presence on the wrist. Beneath its rugged exterior, the watch is driven by Orient's reliable in-house Caliber F6922 automatic mechanical movement with hand-winding and second-hand hacking capabilities. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) across 22 jewels, this self-winding movement provides a 40-hour power reserve, ensuring consistent accuracy driven entirely by natural wrist motion or manual crown winding. The case features perfectly balanced diver's proportions, measuring 41.8mm in case width with a profile thickness of 12.8mm and a compact lug-to-lug distance of 46.8mm, ensuring a comfortable, planted wrist feel. Superior optical clarity and dial protection are guaranteed by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Engineered for severe aquatic environments, the solid stainless steel case incorporates a solid screw-down caseback and a knurled screw-down crown, achieving a certified 200-meter (20 bar / 660 ft) water resistance rating suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and recreational scuba diving. The timepiece comes completed on a durable, weather-resistant black silicone rubber strap, secured by a solid stainless steel pin buckle clasp.
