Seiko Selection SWFH126 Solar Radio Women's Watch

The Seiko SWFH126 is an exquisite Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) solar-powered radio-controlled dress timepiece from Seiko’s elegant Seiko Selection line for women. Known among watch enthusiasts and discerning collectors by its collection series nicknames—the "Solar Radio" or "Radio Wave Solar"—this 28.0mm watch pairs a solid two-tone stainless steel case with pink gold PVD accents, a delicate soft pink dial, a date calendar window at 3 o'clock, atomic-clock radio-wave timekeeping technology, a durable Hardlex crystal, and an integrated two-tone stainless steel construction. Engineered for modern women who demand total timekeeping precision, low-maintenance solar operation, and elegant wrist presence, it bridges high-tech atomic accuracy with feminine sophistication. The defining visual highlight of this SWFH126 reference is its soft pink dial framed by a polished pink gold PVD-plated bezel. Set beneath a clear Hardlex crystal, the dial features stylized pink gold-tone Roman numerals and hour markers, elegant hands with LumiBrite accents for low-light visibility, an outer minute chapter track, and a calendar date window positioned cleanly at 3 o'clock. The harmonic contrast between the delicate pink dial face, warm pink gold highlights, and lustrous stainless steel delivers a refined, jewelry-like presence on the wrist. Beneath its artistic exterior, the watch is driven by Seiko's advanced in-house Caliber 1B22 solar radio-controlled quartz movement. Powered by light energy absorbed through the dial face, this movement completely eliminates the need for battery replacements. It automatically receives standard radio wave time signals across 4 global regions (Japan, China, North America, and Germany) to maintain atomic-clock accuracy without manual adjustments. Operating for approximately 6 months on a full solar charge (and up to 1.5 years in power save mode), it features an automatic hand position alignment function, overcharge protection, and a full auto-calendar function. The housing is crafted from solid stainless steel with a polished pink gold PVD-plated bezel for a luxurious two-tone appearance. Measuring 28.0mm in case width by 34.6mm in case length with an ultra-slim profile thickness of just 8.3mm and a total weight of approximately 55.0 grams, it offers a lightweight and comfortable fit for everyday wear. Engineered for active daily life and aquatic exposure, the solid stainless steel case incorporates a secure caseback, achieving a certified 100-meter (10 bar / 330 ft) water resistance rating suitable for daily wear, rain, hand washing, and swimming. The timepiece comes completed on an integrated two-tone stainless steel link construction, secured by a three-fold deployment clasp with a push-button release mechanism.
